Builder's Risk Insurance is designed to provide coverage for property while under construction or being remodeled. These policies cover damages or destruction by fire, lightening, wind storm, hail, explosion, aircraft, motor vehicle, smoke, vandalism and malicious mischief. Liability is not included in Builder's Risk policy and should be purchased separately.
Course of construction coverage should be in place before building materials or construction workers arrive at the site and should extend to the completion of the building project.
